This policy explains how The Nursing Central handles information when you use thenursingcentral.com, download a free resource, submit a form, create an account, make a purchase or use a support service.
Information collected
Server and security logs
The hosting and security systems may record IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, referrer, time and security events. These records are used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the site and are retained according to provider and security settings.
Forms and email updates
If you submit a contact form, download the free guide or complete a product questionnaire, the site may process the name, email address, order number, answers and message you provide, together with technical anti-spam information. This information may be stored in WordPress and sent through hosting or email providers to deliver the requested resource, respond to you or administer a purchase. Do not send passports, certificates, health data, account credentials or other sensitive documents.
Purchases, payments, analytics and cookies
When you place an order, WooCommerce processes contact, billing, order and download information. Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms; The Nursing Central does not receive or store your full card number. Essential cookies may maintain the cart, checkout, security and consent preferences. The site also uses Google Analytics 4 subject to the applicable regional consent setting. Google and Stripe may process device, usage, approximate-location or transaction-related information under their own terms. Country detection may use the visitor’s IP address to select the appropriate consent setting.
Calculators and wizard
The clinical calculators and educational wizard do not require an account and are designed to process answers in the browser. Do not enter identifiable patient information. The site does not currently use advertising pixels on the clinical calculators. Standard web logs and analytics operating under the applicable regional consent setting may still record that a page was visited.

The site uses hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce, security, email, form, consent, analytics, payment and messaging services. Third-party providers include Stripe for payments, Google for analytics and WhatsApp/Meta when a customer chooses WhatsApp support. Some providers may process information outside Australia or the customer’s country. The site does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Retention and your choices
Contact messages, subscriber records, orders and support communications are retained only as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, protect security and meet legal obligations. Payment-provider, technical and analytics retention also depends on provider settings and applicable law. Visitors can manage non-essential storage through the consent banner where it is displayed, and all visitors can restrict cookies through their browser. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw consent. Requests can be made through the contact form.
Changes and contact

Email guide and updates
If you request a free guide, The Nursing Central records the first name and email address you provide, your consent choice, the form source and the date of the request. This information is used to deliver the requested guide and, only when you have consented, to send occasional emails about nursing registration and migration resources. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. The record is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted.
