The Nursing Central exists for one reason: international nurses moving to Australia get lied to. Migration agencies charge thousands of dollars to repackage information that is publicly available. Outdated forum posts send people down the wrong pathway. Polished influencer content skips the parts that actually matter.
This site is the opposite of that. It is run by a Registered Nurse working in Western Australia who went through the AHPRA registration and ANMAC skills assessment processes personally, made mistakes that cost months of delay, and wrote down exactly what worked and what didn’t.
What you find here
- Migration guides — AHPRA registration and ANMAC skills assessment for international nurses, with real 2026 fees, realistic timelines and the mistakes that stall applications.
- Clinical calculators — six free, ad-free bedside tools: drip rate, drug dosage, IV infusion rate, drug dilution, BMI and BSA. No login. No email capture.
What you won’t find here
- No migration agency upsells
- No paid course funnels
- No newsletter sign-ups (yet)
- No ads, no affiliate trickery
- No promises that Australia will be easy
Editorial principles
Every fee, timeline and procedural step on this site comes from official sources — AHPRA, NMBA, ANMAC, the Department of Home Affairs — verified at the time of publication. Personal anecdotes are clearly marked. When something changes (and AHPRA changes things several times a year), the guides are updated.
This site is independent. It is not affiliated with AHPRA, NMBA, ANMAC, the Australian Government or any migration agency.
